Description

This course provides an introduction to microeconomics. The course is intended for students to gain a general understanding of microeconomics and serves as a foundation course for future study in economics. The course will mainly focus on the following topics: supply and demand; market equilibrium; international trade; consumer theory and production theory; cost and price; economics of households, business firms, and markets; competition and monopoly; resource allocation; income distribution; governmental regulation; externalities; public goods.
